We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, and we’re excited to finally announce the launch of Denton Eats! After seeing how engaged our subscribers are with local restaurants, we thought it was the perfect time to create a comprehensive guide to all the amazing dining spots in Denton County. This will be a go-to resource for foodies, featuring everything from badges and reviews to curated guides highlighting the best eateries around. Design Competition: Denton Courthouse - Final Round!

The top 3 designs are in, and it’s time for you to decide which one will be crowned the winner! The designer of the winning hat will receive a cash prize, a big hug, a hat, and, of course, major bragging rights. Keep those designs coming—we’ll also be running a limited batch of hats for our subscribers if they want to grab one! Vote now and let’s pick the design that’ll make history!

Food Quest Update: Burger Quest - Final Round!

The top 10 burgers are in, and it’s time for the FINAL vote! Cast your vote for your favorite burger from our list of contenders. This is the last chance to make your voice heard and crown the best burger in town! Voting will close soon, so don’t miss out! Once the winners are chosen, we’ll be testing the burgers ourselves and featuring them across our social media so make sure to follow us for updates!

H-E-B Announces New Store Coming to Denton

H-E-B is expanding its reach in North Texas with plans to open its first store in Denton. The new location will be part of Hillwood’s Landmark development, situated on a 20-acre site at the northwest corner of Interstate 35W and Robson Ranch Road. Although the property purchase is not yet finalized, construction is expected to begin this spring. A groundbreaking ceremony, with further details, will be announced soon. H-E-B has proudly served communities across Texas since 1905, and this new store reinforces its commitment to providing quality service to even more customers in Denton and beyond. (H-E-B Newsroom)

Community Updates:

• High Wind Advisory and Fire Danger Update: Denton County’s high wind advisory has been extended until 9 p.m. Wednesday, with winds gusting up to 40 mph. A cold front is expected to bring temperatures into the upper 30s by Wednesday night, and fire danger remains high due to low humidity. Authorities recommend extra caution when driving and prohibit outdoor burning. (Denton Record Chronicle)
