New Local Business Openings Around Denton County

Denton County is expanding with some exciting new businesses! Here are a few upcoming spots you won’t want to miss:

  • The Picklr: Opening later this year at 2450 S. Stemmons Fwy, Lewisville, The Picklr is bringing a state-of-the-art indoor pickleball experience to the area. The facility will feature at least eight climate-controlled courts, a pro shop, event space, and programming for all skill levels, making it a new hub for both casual and competitive players.

  • Dumont Creamery & Cafe: Set to open soon at 1633 Robson Ranch Road, Northlake, Dumont Creamery & Cafe will offer a unique mix of Indian and American ice cream flavors, along with coffee, milkshakes, pastries, and boba tea. With other locations in Frisco and Coppell, this new spot aims to become a go-to destination for sweet treats and café favorites in southern Denton County.

  • Paris Baguette: Opening June 25 at 2000 Long Prairie Road, Flower Mound, Paris Baguette will serve a rotating menu of cakes, donuts, pastries, and coffees in a welcoming bakery café setting. The new location is set to bring a fresh taste of international bakery favorites to the Flower Mound community.

Denton Independent Hamburger Announces Name Change

Denton Independent Hamburger is getting a fresh start with a new name-soon, it will be known as County Road Burger Co. as part of a rebranding and expansion effort. The change comes as the owners prepare to franchise and set themselves apart from another similarly named burger spot opening nearby. Fans can rest assured that the same great burgers and welcoming atmosphere will remain at the Denton location. This new chapter brings a fresh identity while keeping the local favorite’s spirit alive. (More Info)
