Community News 📰

🇺🇸 July 4th Independence Day Adjustments

Cities across Denton County have announced closures and service changes for Independence Day. Most City of Denton facilities will be closed on Friday, July 4, with normal hours resuming Saturday, July 5, though Water Works Park, Civic Center Pool, and the Denton Natatorium will stay open for holiday fun. In Flower Mound, Friday trash collection will move to Saturday, and other cities may have similar schedule changes or closures for public offices and services, so be sure to check with your local municipality before heading out.

Community Updates:

  • 🏘️ Toll Brothers Announces Luxury Community in Argyle: Toll Brothers has unveiled plans for Enclave at Hickory Hill, a new luxury home community coming to Argyle this fall. Homes will range from 3,700 to over 6,000 square feet on spacious one-acre lots, each offering 4 to 5 bedrooms and 3-car garages. Site work is underway, with sales expected to begin in fall 2025.

  • 🚗 End of Paper License Plates in Texas: Starting July 1, 2025, Texas dealerships will no longer issue paper license plates.
